PRIVACY POLICY

Kidswritethesite.com is committed to providing a fun, safe and secure website. We are dedicated to safeguarding all personal information collected online to help children protect their privacy while online. We do not ask children to disclose more personal information than is necessary for them to participate in a particular activity, and we take steps to prevent children from posting contact information. Kidswritethesite.com is committed to and complying fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998.

As we continue to offer our visitors new and different types of content and services, we may modify our practices from time to time.

WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED?

At kidswritethesite.com, it's our policy to create website content that requires minimum collection of information from our visitors. From time to time, however, we may request limited personally identifiable information (e.g. a child's e-mail address, first name and last initial, state and country of residence, age, the e-mail address of a parent or third party and the contact information of their school), as explained below, in order to conduct online contests or offer other online activities.

SUBMISSIONS, CONTESTS and SWEEPSTAKES

Kidswritethesite.com accepts submissions and on occasion may offer contests which may be entered online. Though many submissions are posted, it is up to the kidswritethesite.com operator(s) to decide which ones to post and each submission will be reviewed appropriately. To participate in a contest, a child is requested to provide his or her first name and last initial, e-mail address, and the name and address/contact information of their school if their information is posted online. E-mail addresses are collected for the purpose of entering the online contest on a one-time basis and are used to notify winners of the contest.

The child's parent or guardian is asked to provide an e-mail address for contact and notice. In the case that the website is used for school purposes at school, the child may fill in the parent or guardian's information for them. We send the child's parent an e-mail informing him or her of the child's entry and give the parent the option to have the child's entry deleted. All the information collected by kidswritethesite.com is securely maintained and used only for the purpose of conducting the contest. Once the contest is finished, we delete personal information. If an e-mail is sent by a parent but is not received due to technical reasons, kidswritethesite.com will not be deemed responsible.

E-MAIL

Kidswritethesite.com may also provide the opportunity for visitors to send e-mail to us. All information collected is used only to respond to e-mail questions or requests.
