One bright, sunny day a little girl named Lilly and her dog, Spark, wanted to go to the beach. When Lilly asked her mom if they could go her mom said,"Ok, but do not swim. There are many sharks."

"Ok mom", said Lilly. But when Lilly and Spark got to the beach, Spark ran off into the ocean.

"No,come back!!" shouted Lilly. But he couldn't hear her. Suddenly she saw a shark swimming right towards Spark! "Oh no!!" she shouted.

She saw the shark getting closer when suddenly a lifeguard's head popped out of the water. He got Spark safely back to shore. "That was a close one." said Lilly.

"Woof," barked Spark.
